MYOB and Microsoft Partner to Bring Copilot to the Mid-Market

MYOB and Microsoft recently announced a five-year strategic partnership to embed Microsoft Copilot and Azure OpenAI Service directly into MYOB Acumatica. This move brings agentic AI and natural language queries into the core ERP workflow. Since MYOB Acumatica is built on the global Acumatica platform, this means users can benefit from international R&D while maintaining local compliance for Australia and New Zealand.

What this could lead to is a shift from simple record-keeping toward proactive outcomes like intelligent anomaly detection and cash flow forecasting as well as a greater focus on high-value advisory services, supported by a new AI Academy designed to scale these tools. The integration should significantly reduce manual administration for the mid-market.

  • Copilot Integration: Interacting with ERP data using natural language queries.
  • Automated Workflows: AI-driven accounts payable, expense management, and document processing.
  • Azure OpenAI Power: Real-time financial prompts and suggestions delivered within the interface.

The partnership will feature a “Powered by Microsoft” banner across MYOB over the coming months, with the first jointly developed AI features and customer-facing experiences expected to be unveiled later in 2026.
